- Several richly ornamented illuminated initials, with floral borders, some including drawings of animals. On leaf [12] recto of volume 1, in right hand margin, a circular picture of the universe after the creation of the heavens. Large flourished initials in blue or red with white and green ornamentation at beginning of each book.
- Some marginal annotations in volume 2, faded (probably through washing). These are primarily corrections, in an early hand.
- Black leather oval bookplate, with tooling in gilt: "Ex Musæo Huthi". This bookplate was added to books for the sale of the library of Alfred Henry Huth, in November 1911 and June 1912 (item number 654 in the catalogue of this sale, which was undertaken by Sotheby, Wilkinson & Hodge). This library was begun by Huth's father, Henry Huth.
- In pencil on front free endpaper verso volume 1: "coll. per. R.B.", followed by bookseller's price code.
- Volume 1 - catalogue cutting on front free endpaper verso, with inscription in ink: "Purchased from H Young Sons Liverpool by C.S.J. November 1912". Above this, in pencil: "£90. Purchased from Henry Young's of Liverpool by C. Sidney [sic.] Jones, Nov 1912".
