- Summary
- Kumiko Inui has worked as an independent architect for almost 20 years. Early on, she conceived striking commercial designs for Louis Vuitton and Dior, among others. She has also since worked on projects that confront challenging real-life situations and represent a diverse array of typologies and scales, including small private houses, renovations of traditional townhouses in Kyoto, buildings for public services, a school reconstruction, and the redevelopment of a local station area in Kyushu. The book, designed by Atsuki Kikuchi, features an unparalleled number of Inui's works, and many of the photographs directly portray how her buildings are experienced by people
