Summary
"Across the spectrum of psychopathology in later life psychotic symptomatology has been most neglected. Although the literature in this area is gradually becoming more substantial, this book uniquely addresses the need for an overarching framework to examine and understand late-life psychotic phenomena. As well as bringing together the latest research findings on schizophrenia as it presents in later life, there are chapters covering the frequent comorbidity of psychotic symptoms with cognitive impairment, mood disturbance and physical illness. This highlights the diversity of late-life psychotic symptomatology which is a central focus of this book, addressing both etiological considerations and management strategies."--BOOK JACKET
